Wink High Heels and Scoliosis.

Anybody know anything bad about wearing high heels with scoliosis?

Im going to get some anyway, as I dont have any and I'd quite like a pair anyway.

The heels are 4 inches high + a half inch platform too... I know it wont do my back any good (Yes I saw your post 'claire' cherrybird) But, should I try and avoid not wearing them or would it not matter?

Thought I'd post a thread anyway, as I havent been on alot recently for quite a few reasons, so apologies for that.

Thankss, Poppy x

I can safely say that as a very short person I tried for years wearing high heels. I think they are sexy and cute but my back hates them. I got older and smarter- I no longer own any. My back and I don't miss them one bit.

I have a couple of pairs of heels ..... I wear them VERY occasionally, usually when I know I'm going somewhere where I know I'll be sitting down for most of the time. I can't walk or stand for too long in them because they aggravate my pain, but they are nice as a 'one off' from time to time!

Hi Poppy, what I do is wear the high heels on special occasions but I bought a pair of flat fold up shoes to put in my bag that way if your feet or back hurt you can take them off and change into the flat shoes. I was in Primark yesterday and they have lovely pump shoes starting at 6 and are very pretty.
