Hi Ali, I'm really sorry to hear this I assume they have done tests such as an ECG to check your heart? Do you know how your blood pressure is, and have you been referred to a cardiologist at all?

Hi, generally people with a slow heart rate are often quite fit and it can be a very good sign of health.

Costeochondritis is inflammation of soft tissue around ribs and can be painful. I had similar symptoms with my kyphosis that resolved when it was corrected. I actually thought this is what I had before I knew about my spine. I found the forward bend caused a lot of rib pain.

Hope this helps. Feel free to message me if u want to ask anything about it.

Hi, if your kyphosis is a high degree over 90- 100 it can affect ur breathing. Pain from an inflammed rib cage can make it feel harder too breathe because of the pain. Anxiety is a definite possiblity because of hyperventilation.

If you are very concerned maybe ask for a lung function test-then it can put ur mind more at ease.
