Default 3 Year Post-op Video

Hey all!

Sorry for just popping in every once in awhile, but I was playing with my camera and guitar and decided to make an impromptu video!

This is aimed at our new members that need information on life situations and abilities.

Kody! Nice to see you, lil bro Your videos are SO good, you come across really well and explain things in a relaxed and reassuring manner. They're a real asset to SSO!

One thing - could you possibly change the title of your latest video so it says Kyphosis surgery? That way more people will find it when they search on Youtube or via Google

Casting and Milwaukee braces until surgery at 10 - ant release/pos fusion T1-T12, halo traction. Post op cast and then TLSO. Further surgery at 18 (ant release/pos fusion extended to L3 to include lumbar curve, costoplasty) and 25 (another costoplasty). Fusion extended to L4 at 33 (XLIF with 4 pedicle screws and two short rods). Pre-op curves: 76(T) and 70(L). Post-op curves: 45(T) and 35(L). Diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome aged 34; scoliosis almost certainly due to this rather than being idiopathic.

Hi Kody,

We haven't 'met' but I've read a lot of your posts. You had a great results with your SK and provided a lot of good info for us pre-surgery folks. It's really helped me. Thank you!

I tried to watch your 1-week and 1-month post-op videos a few weeks ago and they came up as not available on YouTube anymore. Is there any other places online I could watch them? I having a lot of pre-surgery jitters and would appreciate seeing some positive info right after surgery from someone else with Scheuermann's.

Great video Kody! Candid, informative, honest, thankful and upbeat - just what I needed as I'm going into "theatre" for my op next Friday. Thanks for the positive vibes and glad that you are enjoying life!
