I'm almost 6 weeks post major urology surgery (Mitrofanoff procedure, 5 hours in theatre). Which has been a tough ride.

The thing is that I'm considering saying yes to the bilateral SIJ...

As you'll know I saw Mr Prasad in Mr Tucker's clinic not so long ago and as we were worried about me having *appeared* to have lost correction. Everything was A-ok with the hardware...

Ahh Sue, deffo seems an op is on the table but ill put it off for a year or so if so.

As you know I was seen in clinic last week and had and X-ray, my hardware is solid which qued a sigh of relief!

Mr Prasad wants me to see Mr T himself in march when he's back so...

Hiya! Welcome :)

My initial fusion surgery when I was 17, was anteriorly (T11-L3) and that lasted 6 hours on the operating table. All went as well as could be, he had to do a couple of more things...
