Sorry to hear this, I agree that it needs regular, careful checking and that your surgeon should be made aware of the problem. Take care :squeeze:

Re: Daughter (almost 13 yrs) facing surgery and I am scared!

Re: 2 week post op

Two weeks certainly is very early days, so please don't beat yourself up about still being in pain. At your age you should find your recovery comes on in leaps and bounds :) I wouldn't have though...

Re: Flatback or something else?

Re: Spinal Fusion Recovery Problem

I know this is going to be incredibly hard to do, but please try not to worry too much. It's far more likely that you will have sustained some muscle strain than done any damage to your fusion, but...

Re: Surgery Scheduled 7 November

Hi there :welcome:

It's a very difficult question answer because a lot depends on how active you are before surgery as to how much it will affect your quality of life afterwards. I was in so much...

Re: Help! at my wits end and totally depressed

I think you need to request a change of consultant Netty, this one doesn't seem to have much in the way of compassion and I'm sure someone should be able to help you surgically.

Re: New to forum

All surgeons have to inform their patients of every possible risk in having surgery but in reality, these risks are very tiny, especially the more serious ones, since they use spinal cord monitoring...

Re: Im home since Sunday

Movicol is the same sort of product as Fibogel, I had it and it found it very helpful :)
