Hi again.
Basically with kyphosis because your spine is curved at an abnormal degree, your lungs are being squashed down.
so when they fuse you and your back is straight your lungs will stretch back...

Has anyone else had the muscles in their legs, particularly thigh muscles aching and being sore?
I'm guessing its cos they have to work differently now, as my shape and centre of gravity...

Op was a success. Had a rough time after loads of pain and was really sick, left eye was so puffed up couldn't see out of it.
had an epidural put in and am back on ward now and determined to walk...
