My son has had his fusion operation, T3 - L1 and I am wondering if we should be going to any physio? Does anyone know if and how long after the op it should start?

After progressing relly well, and suffering with the runs, had afew set backs of pain. Really bad today. They wanted us to go home, but am so worried how we will handle pain at home. Now staying...

Back on the ward now and back on his laptop, physio have been at 10am and got him standing up in less than 24hrs. I can't believe it! Ryan in good spirits

Operation yesterday!

Ryan recovering on the Hdu department, wow did not know what an amazing strong lad I have. Been a tough day, but the amazing Mr Gibson says it went well. He has been fused T3 to L1 be in touch soon.

What about theraflex, it will help loosen the tight muscles up. We have been to witham lodge spinal clinic, whenever ryan gets pain his op is end of June

Hi I am new to this site and new to scoliosis! I notice that some of you have known about your scoliosis but waited until into your 20's or 30's before having surgery. Do you wish you had it done...
