Mri can see more things like soft tissue and spinal fluid discs etc. Should help see if there's anything non bone related going on.

Has anyone had any success using the the lifts? They didn't seem entirely sure if it was the leg or the dpine causing the curve. I think it might be linked to the spasms.

Hi,

Thanks Tonybunny. This is following the follow up and xrays. Gona xray again after the shoe lift to see if it helps. The xrays also showed new disc narrowing -dunno if anyone else experienced it...

No, a spine surgeon who is good with scoliosis sometimes has a special interest in kyphosis. Can do an assessment to make sure there r no other problems. Most likely they would suggest some...

Hi,

I would get a 2nd opinion just incase. It might be a tight muscle or tendon u r feeling these can be as hard as bone if nothing is showing up on xray. Even with a structural kyphosis 56degrees...

Hi,

I've read the term over correction quite a few times but I thought it refered to the old systems where over 50percent would be too much strain. There doesn't seem to be a guide in newer systems....

I do have to mention that the cosmetic effects of the surgery are wonderful IF they are achievable. It is not always a satisfactory result though. I love the how...

Mine is lower than urs only from t1 but one of the rods poke up and catch c7. Are u able to drive? I find turning my neck to the one side extremely difficult. Good luck with the collage...

People do talk about spine settling abit -maybe just monitor it and if its really concernin make another appointment?

Could also be slight weight gain. I've lost over15kg since surgery-didn't know...
