Ooh cleaning the shower and bath, and washing the floors are my pain-causers! Even vacuuming hurts.

Could you leave a cleaning brush in the shower, along with cleanser so that your family can do it...

My spinuous process was used as graft material - they are those bumpy nodes along the spine - so I now have a bit of a ditch :D. And I think that is why my hardware is a bit more touchy.

Same! I gather it is because I spend so much time on my back as I can't sleep at all on my sides, albeit for more than a minute or two.

Also, I find when I rub creams on my back it makes the spots...

Going back to work is a huge deal. It takes a lot out of you and drains you both physically and mentally, taking its toll on your recovery. It is still quite early for you, but it does get better....
