Hardware failure is very rare, it only tends to happen...

I just meant that it wouldn't involve as many vertebrae and therefore the operation wouldn't be as extensive. It might not be necessary at all, so please don't fret :squeeze:

You would definitely need X-rays to be sure if there's been any increase in curvature and to what degree. It makes sense to wait until your original surgeon is back off hols, provided you're not in...

I went back at 4 months but I am much older than you!! Can you get up from time to time and have a stretch in your booth? If so, I think you should be fine :)

I was on ridiculous amounts of pain relief, morphine patches, the lot :( My GP thought it was a muscular-type injury at first and when the pain didn't get better I was sent to physio, which didn't...

Hello, I'm here! I've just replied on your other thread! I did indeed have some problems with an area of non-union and this caused the symptoms of flatback - ie a marked forward lean and terrible...

I was fused to L5 from the beginning, so I only have the disc between L5 and S1 left! Thankfully (fingers crossed) it's holding up at the moment and I'm now almost 9 years out from my original...

I don't want to worry you unnecessarily, but those are the exact same symptoms I had a while back and it turned out to be pneumonia :( I'm glad you're seeing a Doctor soon, hope you're OK :squeeze:
