My goodness Mark that sounds horrific, my son had his surgery for Congenital kyphosis on 18th February in RNOH I don't want to temp fate but he is doing amazingly well, he had a 2 staged surgery...

Aaron is being discharged today yippee !! Don't know where the time has went and to think we could have had an extra week if the surgeries had been done separately so we have a lot to be thankful...

Thank goodness chest drain out today still not eating a lot but pain seems to be reasonably well controlled started oral pain relief this morning fingers crossed it doesn't make him sick

Aaron away to theatre at 2 don't know what to do with myself. Not sure how long it will be as if he is doing well after the anterior part they might go ahead and do the posterior too fingers crossed...

Thanks Becky was a very early start this morning:( on the Ward now had a few X-rays done just waiting on mr L and his team will try and keep you updated we are hoping for an early surgery tomorrow ...
