I suspected as much...actually, have whipped out such logic about all kinds of scoli surgery complications over at NSF on a semi-regular basis because, of course, it's natural for "newbies"...

From my 1st fusion (T3-L3, 1999), I had full torso/leg SKIN numbness...

Lol, yes - thankfully, the Aussie medical system pays for a lot! I believe it coughed up about $2,000 for it! I was rather surprised that they agreed to pay.

I was born with myelomeningocele (a form of spina bifida) + many other issues. Feel free to PM me if you actually want "the list" ;)

Hi there,

I just joined up to let you know you should be Absolutely Fine :-) I'm fused from about T2 or T3 right down into my pelvis, & while I can't really twist, I don't have any problems...
