I don't think its progress as such, I think its more about keeping positive and 'acting' in a way in my own mind that things are improving because it helps me mentally or I will have a low mood too...

That is just awful and you did the right thing informing the hospital about what happened. Hopefully you will get to see somebody with a bit more of a heart!
