it's a horrible decision to have to make but i'm sure you'll know what's right for you in the end. i had surgery last august and havn't looked back - it was scary at the time but you bounce...

its so easy for the government to say that nothing needs to be dome when the person who wrote that obviously doesnt have to live with scoliosis everyday!

I actually had sections of 4 ribs completely removed (a costectomy) as part of my fusion so that my rib hump was less prominent - maybe this is what you meant? xx

my mum took some photos with her mobile phone of the xrays when my consultant was showing us them - would save you 9! glad everything went well for you, those scoliosis surgeons are miracle workers...

im 6 months post-op now and most days when i come home from school i have a 2 hour nap. i think it's normal to be sleepy but if you're particularly worried then maybe phone your gp to see what they...

The only problem is that i can't stand people touching my back, and touching my scar myself really freaks me out too! maybe it's about time i came to terms with it! in a way im actually paying for...

I was watching a repeat of american idol yesterday and a girl briefly mentioned that she had scoliosis.
Then i was just watching coleen's real women (where they get normal women and make them models)...

aww you poor thing! i remember i had the symptoms of a blood clot when i went home but it turned out to be a chest infection, still meant an extra week in hospital though! i hope things start to get...

i read a similar story to this about a year ago about another girl who had had the surgery and was now in the final for a modelling competition! its definately nice to read positive stories :) xx
