Another great remedy is St Johns wort oil!! Great muscle relaxant!! Topically is doesnt have as many interactions as oral use.. (natural supplement for depression) but it helps with Pain and muscles...

yup sounds muscular to me too.. especially if its the other side now - compensating.. have you tried pilates to streghthen core and hold you up bettter..

Firstly - they cannot refuse you an xray - you can demand it, or a referrel to an orthopaedic specialist especially if you are taking relaxants which only are prescribed for a symptom

My lumber was compensatory... now i am thinking i should never have been fused there and then those three remaning would never had all the pressure added....

Thanks guys,

Yeah fractures been causing me alot of pain, i guess cos i am already fused it will affect my movement as there is no mobility above the spine.. just really scared to go through it...

When I had my original fusion I was out of school for a year,

I am now in the same position as you i need another fusion L3-L5 and have told work worst...

I had two curvatures Thoracic and lumbar curves of 47 and 50 degree curves fused by Harrington rods posterially, right before my 15th birthday.

Had pain ever since, fractures developed on discs...

I am now being followed up with Dr David Harrison, at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor xx

Hi No problems, my kyposis is above my fusion from T4 upwards to my neck area really...

I am being followed up with Dr David Harrison in Windsor just check ups to make sure it doesnt improve.......

I suffer from back pain alot especially lower back pain, I get trapped nerves in there all the time!

good old rest does it for me, as does seeing the physio, heat pads, st johns wort oil...
