Re: What is normal 'settling' of the spine?

In the first 3 weeks of me being post op I wasn't x-rayed again but lost around 1.5/2inches in height. Settling does get very rapid initially when you go from laying down to walking and becoming more...

Re: Surgeons reviews? How much pull?

I heard bad reviews about my surgeon as he is considered more novice at our hospital as he is the newest consultant and subsequently one of the youngest but I felt at ease with him and how he...

Re: What's my curvature degree ? Any assumptions ?

Hi, I just saw your private message. Although I had elements of kyphosis, my main problem was scoliosis and my surgeon never measured me for a kyphotic curve. Your's looks quite postural however I...

I went back to school at 4.5 weeks post op and I'm glad to hear Emily isn't back yet - I went back too soon and I think you need to feel completely comfortable when you go back. I was still very...

Re: Feel down that there is nothing that can be done about rib hump :-(

I've seen Mr Tucker in theatre (as a student, not a patient) and he does take on hugely complex cases - don't give up hope yet!

Re: Feeling Frustrated

Hmmm I'd give PALS a try as Gilly says, or perhaps look at a referral elsewhere/seek a private appointment elsewhere. Can you get to the RNOH in Stanmore any quicker at all?x
