I went to my doc yesterday for another x-ray, and he told me I don't need surgery and that I really shouldn't mess with surgery unless I have to because it would severely impair my flexibility based...

Fusions?

This might be a silly question, but when the doctors do a scoliosis surgery, do they fuse the compensatory curve too, or do they just fuse the primary curve and hope the compensatory curve...

I never wobble on the way home from the pub :never: (I wish). And I think I read about that one! And one of the tests was something like, you had to stand on a vibrating balance beam?...

I think I understand your description :) I'll try that. I did a lot of yoga when I was younger, after I got diagnosed, to help with my back, and I still try to do some of the back stretches regularly...

Thank you for your responses! GloomCookie, I find that I do have some minor problems with balance, and the hip/lower back area on my left side is stiffer and less flexible than on the right side.
