As im the same age as you, id thought id say this, pre surgery i was around 5'4 with an arm span of 5'9 and post surgery i'd say im around 5'6. Its totally normal for people not to have the hight...

I have the same issue of being skinny too, and also having them right near the bottom of the kyphosis curve, Ed says around T6. But im now happy i can sit on chairs properly, just a tad annoying...

Yeah, i try and shuffle and get comfy, but doesnt always work, but having something like that behind me has previously been very annoying to me, but will try it again and see if it helps... hopefully...
