Thanks to all for the input. I don't believe this will be a 2 stage surgery and will have to be done posterior. Two concerns I have are not fusing for a second time and the loss of mobility....

My story is pretty straight forward. I'm looking at a scoliosis fusion from about t-3 to l-5. Now that's a long fusion for any one. I went to get a second opinion and they suggest an even lower...
