hi all just wanted to ask who has done this course sucessfully and how they are getting on with it so far.But my pain query is the bar thingy you have to work on for the rest of your days how much does it cost and how much space does it take up.

Hi,
The wallbars are 1 metre wide and 2 metres high. You need to allow space for you to lie on the floor in front of them. I can't remember exactly how much they cost, I think around 200-300.
Its really hard to keep up the motivation to exercise EVERY day for the rest of your life, but the pain relief is amazing :).

AQZ,

I have not done the Scoli Gold course but I have done a Schroth course and have the bar you are talking about although I can't use the darn thing due to my painful shoulder.....

Anyway, some people literally go all out and get something that looks like a kids gynasium and screw it into the wall of a spare room or garage. I live in my sister's flat so that was never possible for me. My teacher recommended a doorwar bar that could then be adjusted for different levels. Also, it wont have to "live" in the doorway (you can unscrew the thing). Give me a mo- I'll go and look at the make and how much it cost me. Back in a tick....

Sorry i can not answer that question but for the sake of 20 quid it may be worth a try and it could end saving you a couple of hundred quid

Having not seen the bar in question but sween bars similar in gyms as long as it supports your weight, to me an exercise bar is an exercise bar

What do the exercises involve could you let us know (sorry for being nosey i am just curious)

I was actually told to get mine (the one I pasted above) by the clinic I went to. I have a few online mates that have done Schroth around the world and they use the very same one I do. But your clinic may be different. As exercises are very much tailor made, I think you better clarify with them what is ok. Hope this helps.

Started to get pain in neck (no jokes lol) and accross my shoulders but i am due my pain killers in a while

I hope you are feeling a little better now. Please understand we are here for you and we do know what you are going through, lifes a rollercoaster isn't it
