I've heard that Rolfing is very good for relaxing muscles, it's rather like deep tissue massage crossed with chiropracy as it focuses on balancing the body and keeping things in alignment, and it is probably great for helping people who are in pain due to their scoliosis. However, I haven't seen any evidence that it can permanently straighten structural spinal curves.

Rolfing has been around for years and there are plenty of people who can testify that it has helped them get relief from back pain and stiffness etc.
