Im just curious about scoliosis surgery.
I was informed 2 days ago that i need it, and this will be the first surgery that I'm getting.
Kinda nervous, has anyone here had it??? :monkey:

Yes, and trust me, there's nothing to be nervous about. If you have a good, experienced surgeon everything will be fine.
For the first few days they give you morphine, which is medicine they give you through your IV which stops the pain immediately. Plus they give you a urinary catheter, but don't be alarmed.
You can't feel it at all. It's just a tube (inserted in your pee-hole xD) and you pee without even knowing it. And when they pull it out it takes literally three seconds and it's only a slight tugging feeling.
Um, that's all I'm thinking of now, but if you have any other questions just ask.
