Hi there, I'm sorry for the delay, there's quite a list awaiting registration at the moment and I'm only 3 weeks post-op myself, so can't manage long at the computer at one time. I'll try and get it done later today though, it will be nice to have you with us :)

All done now, look forward to 'meeting' you :)

Sorry about this for anyone else who was held up as well, and apologies to Gilly for getting stuck with a backlog - I had been keeping up with it, and then wasn't for various reasons.

No worries titch, think I'm back on board a bit more now :)

Hi, my user name is porncaddy, I haven't been able to post or add anything to the forums since I signed up... Wondering what I should do.
Regards

Aha! I'm glad that you've actually posted in here - with the name chosen, it gave a high likelihood of you being a spammer, and contacting spammers who have valid email addresses tends not to be a good move!

I'll drop you an email on the account you used to register, as ideally we'd like you to choose a different name because people are likely to be freaked out by the current one ;) We'll get you registered in no time though :D

Hi, your registration process tells me I'm a spammer! I'm really not, and really desperate for some support after my baby has been diagnosed with scoliosis. My requested username was LJ.
Please help me get registered ASAP.

Many thanks...

Hi LJ,

I'm so sorry about this! We have a very cautious anti-spam system and I'm sorry that it has prevented you from signing up. If you give me a few minutes, I will try to get you registered so you have proper access. Please watch your email in case I need to send you anything.

ETA I can't seem to find your account details - I'm wondering if the system didn't allow your name because it is only two letters long. Could you possibly try again with a longer name please, and post here to let me know when you have done so? Again, I'm really sorry for these problems, it might be a software issue that I'm not aware of.

Hi Toni,
Thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately I've tried again with the username "Lucy" and I'm getting the same result. When I initially tried to register I also followed the website's advice (having been denied registration) to contact you via the "contact us" link, so hopefully you will have my details there? I don't know what else to do and I've got so many questions to ask of your members!

Thanks,
Lucy

Hi Lucy,

I'm really sorry about this! I haven't had any notification emails through and I can't see where your registration has gone. Please bear with me, I will see if the other admins can shed some light. If you wouldnt mind dropping me an email, I might be able to get things sorted more quickly - my email is -*edited*.

hi,
I have just tried to register twice and it states that I am a spammer when I'm not! I've just started hospital appointments for my back and I'm a little clueless about it all so was wanting to get in touch with people who are going through the same thing! I used username charlottef.

Hi there, sorry about this, we do have a rather strict spam filter as we were having so much trouble and I think it occasionally kicks out legitimate sign-ups.

If you would like to use the password requests forum above this one (only admins can see it, so your details are safe in there) to post the username you want, a word you'd like us to use for a temporary password, and the email address to contact you on, we'll get it sorted.

Hello,

I registered yesterday under the username Mari42. I got the email to confirm my access, etc. but I can't reply or post a new thread. Could someone please look into this for me? Thanks! :)

Hiya,

I'll drop you an email on the address you used to sign up with. My usual postman is on holiday at the moment, and our post sometimes goes wonky when we have trainee and temporary postmen :(

I'll be able to get your access sorted out very soon :)

Hmm ... I'm not at all sure why you are unable to post, you seem to be registered now, this would have been done once titch received your parents approval. Your usergroup is set to 'yellow', which doesn't mean anything to me but I'm sure titch will be back soon to check things out for you ;)

Maybe until you're able to gain access properly you can share with us what's going on? We all know to well that feeling of being all alone in this deal.
