Questions about Veptr device?

Hi everyone

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days but I really needed a break as
all the information was biulding in my head and I wanted to step
back and spend some time with the family.

For those who's children have received the Veptr device I understand
this is very new.

What degree was your child's curve when the started with this?

Plus what age was your child?

How long from the time you started to try and get in this program
did they actually receive it to start treatment?

Did your doctor apply for your child to be a canditate or did you
have to did it all?

How often do they have to be seen once this is started? How long do
they think they'll have this? Until they finish growing?

Also did all the kids who currently have it did they all have fused
ribs?

I know these may seem like dumb questions but I'm interested in
having more information before our appt in June thanks for any input
anyone can give me. Cathy

Hi Cathy

No one on this board (that I know of) has a child that has the titanium rib, therefore will struggle to answer your questions. If you're a member of the infantile scoliosis Yahoo group, Shellie, Gail and Carmell all have children who have undergone the process and should be able to help.

Just posting same info as Andrea, I was a member of the yahoo group, but it moved too fast for me at the time, but I do remember some posts about the titanium rib on there a few months ago. Hope you get the info you are looking for.
