:hammer: I finally bought myself a .com ... Always wanted one :)

Hopefully this summer I will be able to teach myself how to properly build websites :)

What I've got so far:

There are still some bugs to work out. I need to redo all of the pages in html. Right now, some of the pages are still from my older site when I used pagebuilder...

I think it looks a lot better than the older one... a lot of people e-mailed me and told me that they could barely read the links... lol

I am right now trying to figure out how to organize... and run some spell check... on that huge "Your Story" page.

OH yes, best viewed 1024x768
Looks rather too large on a 800x600 screen.. this is the sort of thing that my poor html skills have yet to encompass ;)

Excellent news :D The site is looking really good so far :-) When we get a links section up, it'll be straight in there!

Wonderful!! Love the images, you've done a great job! If you ever need help with HTML, I'd be glad to help, although I'm sure you know quite a bit about it by the looks of the site. :) Tres fantastique!

Thank you :) I think it looks a lot better than before...

The only frames I really know are i-frames... I would love to be able to figure out how to make my site fit into any browser window... like SSO does... I would probably have to start looking into php or tables to do that though.. :-/

That looks great! Didnt you already have a website though?

I've checked your new website yesterday. It's great
A few years ago I started from scratch and meanwhile I've learned a lot.
Maybe when I have some time :help: I'm going to learn PHP, ASP or something like that, I'm sure that is easier to do specific things, now I only know a little bit of HTML and sure you can work with frames in HTML to fit in windows as I did with my website but it's not that simple. :-?
Anyway fitted into a window or not it looks fantastic ;-)

Yup, basically the same site.. only a longer address.. geocities.gotscoliosis.com, a lot more ads, and very little bandwith. ;-)

This is basically just like a huge update-revamping the site sort of thing ;)

that is so well done! You offer so many helpful tips. Congrats!

So far so good. Hasn't all loaded for me. Looks fantastic though from what I can see. How much of a dent in your pocket will this new .com cost you!?

15th May 2004, 09:24 PM
Lol, that "dent" in my pocket is precisely what has kept me from purchasing one in the past. Lol. Luckily.. it really isn;t bad at all only about $9 a month. Extra charges is your site exceeds allotments... like bandwith.. You can disable this feature if you would like... but I doubt that I will be exceeding my limits any time soon. And if I do... wonderful! :) As long as the money doesn't become too bad that is.. ;)

Argh, I've been having load of trouble with my blogger lately.. sometimes is publishes.. sometimes it doesn't! Anyone know of a nice free blogger system?

Ah dammit, I used to know a really good one. I had it bookmarked to add on my site but I couldn't decide whether to use it or not. I can't find it i my Favourites though.

If I find it, I'll give you a holler.
